Holds a PhD, Masters and Honors degrees in economics from UCT, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Zambia. His research interests revolve around the economic analysis of energy, mining, and environmental and social policies in developing countries. His research and policy analysis experience includes working as lead researcher on studies supported by organisations such as the World Bank, UNICEF, the UK Climate Compatible Growth (CCG) programme, FCDO, WITS University and the Zambian Government. He has extensive data analysis experience having served as lead data analyst on World Bank CEQ impact assessments of fiscal policies on social wellbeing in South Africa; Zimbabwe and Zambia (2025). He serves as Consulting Advisor at Terra Verde Consult. He has over 15 years’ work experience.
